Ransomware - what is it?
Intruders are capable of stealing our cash by using more sophisticated methods as technology improves. We frequently receive messages sent to our mail or mobile device that contain images or other programs that may "interest us", but they are actually malware that can take over our mobile device or PC. For example, you could place an advert on an ads platform about selling some product. A few hours later you get an SMS with an offer to exchange the product you are selling for another along with a link to photos of this product. If you browse this link on an Android device, you download an application that transfers all your money to accounts belonging to the intruder. Another technique used to attack is to send out mail messages with link text and hyperlinks, which prompt users to click the link.
